You'll move from a personal opinion on product quality to a professional, evidence-based diagnosis, and from scattered observations to structured reports with clear priorities and actionable recommendations. This camp not only teaches you how to criticize design, but also builds your ability to evaluate any digital product using four specialized research methods, and produces reports that are suitable for presentation to any team or client.

  • Build Benchmark Matrix Compare competitors and identify gaps.
  • Design preference tests and convert their results into evidence-based design decisions.
  • Build a final Storytelling report that links recommendations to business goals.

Introduction to UX Research: Learn about the concept of user experience research and its importance in building successful digital products.

Types of UX Research: The difference between quantitative (Quantitative) and qualitative (Qualitative) research and their respective sections.

Together we will learn how to research the 10 Usability Heuristics and how to apply them in practice.

Writing Findings is clear: define the problem and its impact on the user experience.

Severity Rating: Evaluation criteria and severity scores for the specific problem.

Prioritization: Prioritize based on the severity of issues and their impact on user experience.

Recommendations: Write recommendations for each specific problem.

Report Creation: Preparing the Heuristic Evaluation Report.

Definition of Usability: Learn about the concept of ease of use and its basic standards.

Definition of Usability Testing: What is usability testing and its core components (Moderator, User, Note Taker).

When do we choose an unsupervised test instead of a controlled test.

Tools and Data Collection: Set up recording tools (screen, audio, footage) and collect video and notes.

Selection of participants: criteria for appropriate selection and how to communicate with them before the session.

Session Management: How to manage a test session professionally.

Analysis: Coding notes, grouping issues, and prioritizing.

Post-Test Survey: Likert questions and quick measurements (such as SUS or UMUX-Lite).

Triangulation: Link Week 1 results to test results to confirm identified issues.

Report Creation: Preparing the Usability Testing Report.

Definition of Benchmarking: Learn about the concept of benchmarking and its importance in evaluating user experience.

Identify direct and indirect competitors and selection criteria.

Benchmark Framework: Definition of criteria, weights, and a 1-5 point system.

Sources of evidence: official websites, app stores, user reviews, actual footage and experiences.

Convert results to shareable Benchmark Matrix / Scorecard.

Extract Best Practices and identify executable Gaps.

Randomization and order bias reduction to ensure reliable results.

Preference questions with "Why?" To extract the motivations behind the choice.

A simplified statistical overview of the interpretation (without complexity).

Transforming the results into a clear, evidence-based design decision.

Report Creation: Preparing the Preference Testing Report.

Capacity structure: problem → evidence → opportunity → recommendation.

Linking recommendations to action indicators.

Building the final report and identifying its most important elements (Report).

No, this is a foundation camp designed specifically for beginners! We start from the basics and work our way up with you step by step.
